We are pleased to share that Adrian Chiu, EVP and President of Pentair Water Solutions, has been named a Notable BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and people of color) Leader by Twin Cities Business. Adrian is one of 31 honorees selected for his exceptional business leadership and positive contributions in the greater Twin Cities community.

Throughout his 12-year career at Pentair, Adrian has been a significant contributor and leader, taking on roles of increasing responsibility including a pivotal role in the 2018 separation of Pentair’s electrical business. He was named to the executive team in March 2021 as EVP, Chief Transformation Officer, and assumed the additional role of Chief Human Resource Officer in August 2021.
In January 2023, Adrian moved into the role of segment president, leading Pentair’s newly formed Water Solutions segment. In this role, he has overseen the successful integration of the Company’s acquisition of Manitowoc Ice. This strategic acquisition was a notable contributor for the segment in the first half of 2023, further establishing Pentair as a commercial water leader in the foodservice and hospitality industry.
Adrian’s accomplishments and contributions go beyond Pentair. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Children’s Museum since 2018 and is a member of the Museum’s Growth & Sustainability and Executive Committees. The Museum’s core beliefs align with his for “equitable access to playful learning advances children’s healthy development.”
