Can I buy a cartridge with increased contaminant reduction claims?

For increased contaminant protection, Pentair offers other systems in the FreshPoint portfolio, including FreshPoint 2000 and FreshPoint 3000, that have increased contaminant protection.

Do I need to use a side faucet or can I connect directly to my current faucet?

The side faucet must be used with the F1000 systems. If you are looking for an under counter system that does not require a side faucet, check out the Pentair FreshPoint Easy Flow Under Counter Filtration System.

Can I hook the system up to my hot water line?

No, the cartridges are only designed for cold water filtration only.

How do I know when to replace my cartridge?

Cartridges should be replaced every year (or 750 gallons). A couple of signs that a cartridge needs to be replaced are reduction in flow or chlorine smell/taste.

OFF WITH THE OLD. ON WITH THE NEW.
