Can I buy a cartridge with increased contaminant reduction claims?

For increased contaminant protection, there are other systems in the FreshPoint portfolio, like the FreshPoint 3000 Under Counter Filtration System, available that have increased contaminant protection.

Do I need to use a side faucet or can I connect directly to my current faucet?

The side faucet must be used with the F2000 systems. If you are looking for an under counter filtration system that does not require a side faucet, look no further than the Pentair FreshPoint Easy Flow Under Counter Filtration System.

Can I hook the system up to my hot water line?

No, the cartridges are only designed for cold water filtration only.

How do I know when to replace my cartridge?

Cartridges should be replaced every year (or 675 gallons). A couple of signs that a cartridge need to be replaced are reduction in flow or chlorine smell/taste.

OFF WITH THE OLD. ON WITH THE NEW.
