Did you know you can have better tasting, better smelling and more refreshing water streaming through your faucet on-demand? Meet the Pentair FreshPoint 4-Stage Under Counter Reverse Osmosis System. This system is designed to transform ordinary tap water into clearer, more refreshing water with the turn of your tap by reducing a broad range of impurities found in your home water before polishing it off to give your water a better taste.
When you can enjoy refreshing, high quality water right from your home, there’s no need to waste money on expensive plastic bottled water. The Pentair FreshPoint 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis System is designed to deliver worry-free water in a click. This system features patented Diamond Flow technology, which combines two filtration technologies into one to give you cleaner, high quality, chug-worthy water. And, with Green RO technology, the FreshPoint GRO-450 produces less water waste, leaving you – and your water – with a clear conscience. Other features include:
Tap water passes through Pentair’s patented Diamond Flow technology – a combination of two technologies in one: a carbon block designed to reduce taste and odors, and a poly spun shell wrapped around the carbon block to reduce sediment and help protect the life of the carbon block.
Water then moves through the reverse osmosis membrane which reduces a broader range of contaminants and impurities found in your home water. The membrane separates the water containing contaminants and sends it down the drain while pushing the more pure water in to the next stage. Pentair’s patented Green RO (GRO) membrane reduces the amount of water waste compared to standard members in the market.
Water then runs through a carbon block with a lead reduction media for increased contaminant and lead reduction.
Water then passes through the final stage, a granular activated carbon (GAC) filter, which reduces any remaining contaminants while “polishing” the water to give you better tasting water. This water is then stored in a 4.4 gallon storage tank that hold the water until you are ready for clearer, better tasting water.
